Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with NY Minority City Councilman and Representative of the 51st council district of Staten Island, Joe Borelli about the MTA's congestion pricing plan scheduled to begin June 30.
Borelli called the MTA management "the most boneheaded entity in the city, who are good at one thing above all, wasting money. Their latest ridiculous idea is to hire a psychologist to study why people refuse to pay their fares. All is not lost though there are three outstanding lawsuits against the MTA's congestion pricing that have the power to delay or put a halt to the plan entirely, and former President Trump said if elected, he would do everything he can from the federal level to fight the plan."
