Mayor Eric Adams says he's looking into whether he can revoke a key to the city given to Sean "Diddy" Combs.
"There's a process. There's a panel. They're going to look over it. They're going to make a recommendation to me and we're going to take the next steps," Mayor Adams said.
Video was recently released showing Diddy violently assaulting his then-girlfriend in 2016. Diddy has since said that he is "disgusted" by what he did and he takes responsibility for his actions.
"My heart goes out to the young lady who was assaulted. All of us are disgusted at the video, of seeing something of that magnitude," Adams said.
However, the mayor said the city has never rescinded a key before so he wants to make sure the process is done correctly when setting such a precedent.
