Election Law Expert Says The Trump Trial Is A Bogus Case

Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Hans Von Spakovsky, manager of the Election Law Reform Initiative and Senior Legal Fellow of the Edwin Meese Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Heritage Foundation about the Trump Hush Money Trial.

Spakovsky said, "This is a bogus case from a bogus prosecutor. Neither the Federal Election Commission nor the Justice Department of the United States would pursue the case because it was determined the money paid to Stormy Daniels was not a campaign-related expense. That throws out Alvin Braggs's entire case. When cases like this are brought to court it makes us look like a third-world country. People need to divorce themselves from whether they like Trump or not. This is not the kind of justice we want.
