A 17-year-old girl was stabbed to death on Wednesday (05/09/2024) night outside a Queens subway station — another scary act of violence harming young this week in New York City.
Around 9:25 p.m., NYPD responded to a 911 call which reported a stabbing victim near the 46th Street–Bliss Street subway station entrance in Sunnyside.
According to police, they found the girl with a stab wound in her neck. She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Sources say their person of interest is a teenage girl who is now in custody. FOX 5 NY is told the dispute that led up to the stabbing took place in the stairwell leading up to the elevated train tracks.
