Pro-Palestinian protesters say they won't back down following action by the NYPD to clear out encampments around the city.

Nearly 300 demonstrators were arrested on Tuesday night at Columbia University and City College. while more than a dozen others were taken into custody at Fordham University's Lincoln Center campus. Protesters had been camped out at Columbia for more than two weeks and then barricaded themselves inside Hamilton Hall when the school began suspending students.

Mayor Eric Adams is blaming outside agitators.

"There is a movement to radicalize young people, and I'm not going to wait until it's done and all of a sudden acknowledge the existence of it," Adams said.
