Baseball Fans Deserve Better

Over the past several years MLB has moved opening day to the end of March, when the weather can still be cold, wet, and sometimes snowy. Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Legendary Sportscaster Warner Wolf for his thoughts on the matter.

Warner said, 'The season opened March 28th this year, nearly 3 weeks ahead of the former starting date, April 15th. The NY Mets and Philadelphia Phillies opening days were canceled because of rain and cold temperatures. MLB should do the fans and players, a favor and not make them play, and sit through inclement weather. Either move the start of the season back to mid-April or play in towns with retractable roofs or domed stadiums.
