Family and friends of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller are gathering on Long Island on to remember the fallen officer.
A wake is being held on Thursday and Friday in Massapequa Park, ahead of a funeral on Saturday. Former President Trump is expected to be among those paying their respects on Thursday.
Officer Diller was killed earlier this week during a routine traffic stop in Queens. He was approaching a vehicle illegally parked in a bus stop when a passenger shot and killed him. The suspect was injured when Diller's partner returned fire. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody.
