WOR Week in Review

Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning:

Len and Michael talked this week both with New York City Council Minority Leader Joe Borelli and Democratic Strategist Melissa DeRosa about rumors that have former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo running for the Mayor of New York in 2025.

In a survey of 1,500 people, 83 percent said they felt safe visiting Times Square despite several high-profile crimes recently committed in the tourist hotspot. Len and Michael talked with Tom Harris, President of the Times Square Alliance, for the full breakdown.

Actor Steve Schirripa has become a fixture in Celebrity Row at New York Knicks games for years. For one night, however, the star of The Sopranos and Blue Bloods will be at Madison Square Garden to take center stage, as he hosts Garden of Laughs. The one-night-only event features eight A-list stand-up comedians in a fundraiser for the Garden of Dreams Foundation, which benefits children facing illnesses or financial challenges. Schirripa joined Len and Michael this week to discuss why the charity is so important to him.

Mark Simone:

Mark was joined by pollster John McLaughlin this week, who gave Mr. New York’s listeners a “deep dive” into the latest polls on the November matchup between Donald Trump and President Biden.

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter joined Mark again this week, and this time zeroed in on the rising level of crime in New York City under Democrats.

And earlier this week, ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos made headlines for his interview with Rep. Nancy Mace. Did he cross a line? Media commentator and Fox News contributor Joe Concha weighed in with Mark.
