It's costing more for drivers to cross the Hudson River into New York City.
The Port Authority has raised tolls by 63 cents at its bridges and tunnels. It now costs drivers with EZ-Pass $15.38 during peak hours and $13.38 during off peak hours. Those without EZ-Pass will pay $17.63.
The toll hike comes as congestion pricing is set to take effect in the Spring. It'll charge drivers $15 to drive south of 60th Street, with a discount for those who are traveling into the area overnight. There are multiple lawsuits against the plan, with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy complaining drivers in his state would be charged twice to get into Midtown.
