Another Major Nor'Easter Barrels Into Northeastern U.S.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Lower Hudson Valley New York, northern New Jersey and southern Connecticut from late Saturday through Sunday.

Up to a foot of snow is possible for the interior Hudson Valley, while 6 - 10 inches is possible for Warren and Sussex counties in NJ and Orange and Putnam counties in New York and northern Fairfield and Litchfield counties in Connecticut.

Between 3 - 6 inches is possible for Bergen, Passaic and Morris counties in New Jersey, as well as Rockland and Westchester counties in New York and coastal Connecticut.

New York City and Long Island were not included in the Winter Storm Watch as of Friday morning. The city is expected less than 2 inches of snow.

Precipitation is expected to begin Saturday afternoon, with a mix of rain and snow in some areas then turning to snow late Saturday night or in the early hours of Sunday.

The sun will be back on Monday with highs in the low 40s in New York City.
