Poll: Mayor Adams' Approval Rating Hits Record Low

Just 28 percent of New York City voters approve of the job Mayor Eric Adams is doing, according to a new poll.

That's the lowest mark for a mayor since Quinnipiac University started polling in 1996. The previous low was a 31 percent approval rating for then-Mayor Michael Bloomberg in 2003.

"There's no good news for Mayor Adams in this poll. Not only are voters giving him poor grades on the job he's doing at City Hall, their views on his character have dimmed," Poll Assistant Director Mary Snow said.
