Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Representative Anthony D'Esposito from New Yorks 4th Congressional District about expelling senator George Santos from Congress. D'Esposito told Len and Michael the resolution to expel Santos was filed yesterday afternoon. D'Esposito said he has multiple co-sponsors of the expulsion from Republicans all over the country. Michael Riedel asked D'Esposito if the outcome of the Santos expulsion would be left up to the people who elected him. D'Esposito emphasized, "Santos will not be elected again, no matter if it's because of a criminal investigation or if the Nassau County GOP primaries him. D'Esposito Santos will not be running in the next election." The expulsion of Santos cannot be voted on until the Republicans choose a Speaker of the House.
