Len Berman and Michael Riedel talked with Brookhaven, N.Y. Town Supervisor Edward Romaine about the WOKE New York City Council asking to remove all statues and memorials of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Christopher Columbus, and other historical figures they believe are unacceptable because of the past misdeeds committed hundreds of years ago. Romaine told Len and Michael, "The residents of Brookhaven would gladly pay for dismantling the works if they were allowed to put them back up in Brookhaven. Romaine asked Len and Michael if we were to ignore the history of our country and the greatness of the men who helped found it. Romaine said he doesn't agree with what the city is doing, but if they are going to dispose of the statues, we will take them here, we would love to have them."
