Shrinkflation Means Paying the Same for Less

Len and Michael talked with Edgar Dworsky, the Editor and Founder of Consumer World. Edgar keeps his eye on corporations and manufacturers who charge you the same price for fewer goods. One example of Shrinkflation Dworsky gave the guys is Bounty Paper Towels. The original-sized double roll of paper towels had 98 sheets, after Shrinkflation there are now only 90 sheets. Another example is Dairy Gold Milk. They've changed their half-gallon container from 64 ounces to 59 ounces. Dworsky also talked about how unfair digital coupons are for people who don't have access to the web. Both NJ and NY have bills in the legislature that will require stores to offer simple in-store coupons as well.
