There’s excitement in Florham Park, New Jersey as the Jets are holding a press conference on Wednesday to introduce Aaron Rodgers.
The Jets swung a blockbuster trade earlier this week where they sent multiple draft picks to the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers arrives with a resume that includes a Super Bowl title, four MVP’s and 10 Pro Bowls, making him the most decorated quarterback in franchise history.
Rodgers will lead a Jets team that has dreams of its first Super Bowl in more than 50 years. The Jets finished with a record of 7 and 10 last season despite inconsistent play at the quarterback position. Zach Wilson, who was the number two pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, has struggled during his first two seasons in the league.
