Adams Asks City Council to Help with Costs from Bused in Immigrants

NYC Mayor Eric Adams asked the NYC City Council to chip in on the costs of housing and helping the illegal immigrants that have been bused in from Republican-run states. Adams asked for half of the 563 million dollar 'kitty' the city keeps on hand for emergencies. Mayor Adams says that the immigrant crisis has cost the city over 1 billion dollars thus far. NY City Councilman Justin Brannan said the 'proposal is dead on arrival.'
