WOR Week in Review
WOR is helping fight hunger again this year, with rare auction packages featuring many of our hosts. The money raised will benefit WHY Hunger’s annual Hungerthon campaign:
Len and Michael:
Len and Michael spoke with streaming star and best-selling author Bill O’Reilly about his new book, “Killing the Killers,” which focuses on the rise and fall of Muhammad Ali, Elvis Presley, and the Beatles’ John Lennon…three men who had incredible fame, but troubled pasts.
The guys also spoke with author and journalist Sam Roberts about his new book, “31 Remarkable People, 400 years and the Biography of the World's Greatest City.” Roberts has a chapter in the book about Tex and Jinx, the first morning radio team to do a modern talk show.
Mark Simone:
Mark spoke with pollster John McLaughlin this week about the need for Republicans to up their campaigning game. They say that the Democrats are much better at knocking on doors and canvassing neighborhoods.
Mark also spoke with Boston radio host Howie Carr this week about the huge number of layoffs at both Twitter and CNN.
