Reported sightings of rats in New York City are the highest they've been in over a decade.

Mayor Eric Adams is now declaring rodents as public enemy No. 1. In his latest attempt to control the city's rampant rat problem, New Yorkers will be fined for putting their trash out on the curb before 8 p.m starting early next year.

When Inside Edition’s rat patrol recently went looking for them, the rodents were spotted inside high-end grocery stores and fancy restaurants.
