Crime #1 Concern in Nassau County

Len and Michael talked with Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman this morning. Bruce said he was not surprised by the over half a million jobs that were gained across the country, but he's more concerned with the wages these people are being paid. With the inflation rate at a 40-year high wages are not keeping up with the prices of gas and groceries. The guys also talked about the disgraceful practice of not jailing criminals. Blakeman gave an example of the ridiculous bail reform act that occurred last week in NYC. A career criminal who had been arrested over 100 times in his life was arrested for shoplifting. The thief was arrested, taken to the station house and then released. Blakeman said the number one concern of his constituents in Nassau County is putting a stop to crime.
