Woman Showering Fights Off Naked Home Invader In NJ

A woman showering inside her New Jersey home was allegedly grabbed from behind by a naked man during a home invasion, police said.

The incident occurred just after 10 p.m. on April 14 in the Somerset County town of Hillsborough, near Andria Avenue.

The woman told detectives that she was showering when a man entered her home, took off his clothes and allegedly tried to join her in the shower.

The invader initially grabbed her from behind, Hillsborough Township Police said, but the woman fought him off. The man reportedly fled the bathroom and then left the home.

The woman was not hurt. She described the man as between ages 18 - 24 and thin with short dark hair. He was described as having no body hair or facial hair.

The woman worked with a composite artist to create a sketch of the man for police, which they have released in hopes of getting a lead.

As of Wednesday morning, no arrests had been made in the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
