A four-year-old boy is expected to survive after falling from the sixth floor of a Bronx apartment building, authorities said Tuesday.
The child was taken to a local hospital after falling from a window of a building on East 143rd Street in Mott Haven.
Police say the fall took place at around 12:45 p.m. The circumstances of what preceded the incident are still unclear.
The NYPD says an investigation is ongoing.
