After the miracle run by the St. Peter’s men’s basketball team came to an end, a parade will be held in their honor.
“Today’s game changes very little for us. We couldn’t be prouder of @PeacocksMBB + we’ll 100% do a parade/keys to the city for this team to say THANK You properly from all of us in #JerseyCity + NJ,” Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop said on Twitter.
St. Peter’s made it all the way to the Elite Eight, winning three games in the NCAA Tournament, before losing to North Carolina 69 to 49.
