Warmer Weather Causes Ice To Fall From NYC Skyscrapers (Video)

As the weather begins to slowly warm up entering NYC's "false spring", New Yorkers now how something else to worry about when they step outside, falling ice.

A video posted to the @whatisnewyork Instagram page shows footage of Ice falling from the top of NYC skyscrapers before crashing and shattering on the ground.

This comes shortly after a chunk of ice fell more than 1,400 feet in Midtown and smashed into the windshield of driver Deneice O’Connor as she went up 6th avenue. Another victim a 17-year-old girl was injured by falling ice in Midtown last Friday, both women were treated for their injuries and are in stable condition as per The Daily News.
