Taiwanese chain, Din Tai Fung will now be expanding its locations to include New York City.
In a recent press release, we have learned that Din Tai Fung has just signed a 15-year lease in Paramount's 48-story office in Midtown. The space will be over 26,400 square feet.
Din Tai Fung was founded 70 years ago in Taiwan and has become a world known restaurant. Now in states like California, Washington, Oregon and Nevada. The chain received their Michelin Star in their establishment in Hong Kong in 2010, making history "as no other Taiwanese restaurant [had] ever won a Michelin Star before,” shared Din Tai Fung’s website.
The location soon to come at 1633 Broadway will be the first-ever Din Tai Fung in NYC and New York State. The location should be here by 2023.
