Bagels are the most important food group in New York City. We eat it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, hangovers and everything in between. Which one is our favorite?

GrubHub has released their list of the most-ordered bagel flavors in NYC. While the number one spot may not surprise you, the rest of the list might.... At number 1 comes the everything bagel, then the next 4 are cinnamon, onion, blueberry and jalapeño. The usual suspects like plain, poppy seed, sesame seed, egg... don't seem to make the list!

GrubHub also used its data to show us the most popular bagel shops in the area. Utopia Bagels in Whitestone, Queens wins as the most popular bagel store in the city, followed by the Upper East Side location of Tal Bagels, Astoria’s Brooklyn Bagel & Coffee Company, and Forest Hills Bagels in Queens. Tomkins Square Bagels is one of the most popular bagel shops. Also on the list are Ess-a-Bagel in Midtown East, Greenpoint’s Bagel Point, Gramercy’s David’s Bagels, Tompkins Square Bagels in the East Village, Bagel Pub in Crown Heights and, last but not least, Williamsburg’s Bagelsmith.

The food delivery service also tracked the most popular bagel sandwiches. The number one, a classic, is bacon, egg and cheese bagel sandwich!
