COVID-19 is upending Broadway’s return to normal.

The latest play to struggle is “Mrs. Doubtfire.” In order to stay open in the long run, the show is taking a 9 week hiatus through March 14.

A statement from the show says “Mrs. Doubtfire has been in development for six years. We are doing everything in our power to keep the virus from prematurely ending our run on Broadway. By taking this break, we can afford to launch an extended run starting in March.”
