There’s no winner in New Jersey yet, where the governor’s race remains incredibly close.
As of Wednesday morning, Republican Jack Ciattarelli led by Governor Phil Murphy by a few hundred votes.
“We want every legal vote counted,” Ciattarelli said.
Neither candidate has conceded the race.Murphy expressed confidence because of mail-in ballots that still need to be counted.
“We're all sorry that tonight cannot yet be the celebration we wanted it to be. But as I said, when every vote is counted, and every vote will be counted, we hope to have a celebration.,” Murphy said.
