A big change is coming to City Hall.

New York City voters are choosing a new mayor, with Democrat Eric Adams facing Republican Curtis Silwa. Adams is considered the heavy favorite because of the voting advantage that Democrats have in the city.

In New Jersey, Governor Phil Murphy is hoping to become the first Democrat re-elected in the state in more than 40 years. He’s facing a challenge from Republican Jack Ciattarelli.

Polls in New Jersey show Murphy with a lead somewhere between 8 and 12 points.

Other elections on the ballot include the race for Manhattan District Attorney, the borough presidents and the New Jersey legislature. Nassau County Executive Laura Curran is also up for re-election, as is Westchester County Executive George Latimer.
