Watch: Moment Nassau PD Rescues Baby From "Hot Car" At Luxury Mall

A video shared by News 12 Long Island captured the moment a young child was rescued from a hot car in Nassau County after being left alone inside for at least half an hour, according to police.

Police have identified the parents arrested Tuesday for allegedly leaving their 1-year-old baby boy unattended in a hot car at the Americana mall in Manhasset. Jingcai Zhou, 34, and Lu Lu, 28, both of Flushing, Queens, are charged with reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

They're both set to be arraigned today.
