NYPD has released a video of a man punching a woman in the back of the head on a Midtown subway platform per the authorities. The attack was unprovoked.
In the shocking video below, you can see a still unidentified man come behind a 60-year-old woman and swinging back to punch her in the back of the head, via Pix11. The attack happened after 10p.m. on July 15th when the woman was walking on the 7 train subway platform at Grand Central Terminal.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment to her head and arm, authorities said. The police say the man who attacked her fled to the northbound 5 train.
NYPD released the video of the attack so that the public could help identify the man responsible for the attack.
