The Yankees-Red Sox may be one of the most heated rivalries in baseball but the two teams (and all of MLB) have come together in banning a fan for life from every stadium. Saturday night, as the Red Sox faced the Yankees in The Bronx, a Yankees fan threw a ball onto the field that hit Red Sox left fielder Alex Verdugo in the back. The fan was immediately ejected from the game. The Yankees themselves banned the fan for life from their stadium, and MLB followed suite banning him from the other 29 ballparks.
