Actor, Isaiah Stokes, 41, has been charged with murder. Stokes who is known for appearances in in Law & Order: SVU, Boardwalk Empire, The Americans, Louie and most recently Power in 2019 has been indicted for murder in NYC.
Allegedly, Stokes shot a driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee in Jamaica, Queens 11 times in February. The man has been identified as Tyrone Jones. On Friday, July 16th, Stokes was indicted for murder by a grand jury according to the Queens District Attorney's Office via E! News.
"The defendant is accused of unloading nearly eleven shots during this brazen afternoon shooting," Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said in a statement. "Gun violence is all too prevalent in our neighborhoods. We will not allow it to become the norm."
Stokes was charged with murder in the second degree and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. If convicted, he could serve 25 years in prison.
