A lot of people love to spend their summers by the beach, and while some may just get a vacation rental for a week, other lucky folks buy beach homes so they always have a place to go. Of course, buying in a beach town isn’t necessarily cheap, but there are some places that are more affordable than others.
- Realtor.com has come out with their list of the most affordable beach towns.
- The list judged more than 1,300 towns along America’s shore, looking at factors like median prices of home listings from May 2020 through April 2021. (Note: the list contains only on town in a state.)
- Topping the list is Atlantic City, New Jersey, where the median home listing price is $145,050.
