There’s a new “Transformers” movie on the way. During a virtual showcase yesterday, Paramount gave up the details on the seventh installment of the franchise, “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.” The movie will be set in 1994, moving between New York and Machu Picchu with characters mostly based in Brooklyn. The movie will expand the world of “Transformers,” with the Autobots and Maximals out to save the world from a war between the Beast War robots, the Predacons, and the Terracons.
