NY Man Arrested After Throwing 77-Year-Old Diner Cook Through A Window

“Hey, when you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go;” that’s what an irate 27-year-old seemed to think when he tried to use the restroom at the Washington Square Diner in the West Village. Gregory Conwell of Brooklyn was told he couldn’t use the restroom, and a 77-year-old cook identified as just Constantino tried to escort Conwell out of the building. Conwell didn’t want to go, so he threw the cook through a window, resulting in a trip to the hospital for Constantino with a gash on the back of his head. Three other employees of the diner chased Conwell down the street as he tried to run; they were able to catch him and hold him down until police arrived. The NYPD says Conwell has been charged with criminal mischief and two counts of assault. One would assume Al Pacino will play him in any movie that’s made about the incident.
