Vice President Kamala Harris is in Latin America to try and tame the border crisis and some are not pleased with her work so far.

Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez tweeted her disappointment and added “the US spent decades contributing to regime change and destabilization in Latin America. We can’t help set someone’s house on fire and then blame them for fleeing.”

In her speech in Guatemala, Harris focused on finding “hope at home” but also stressed “I want to be clear to folks in the region who are thinking about making that dangerous trek to the United States-Mexico border. Do not come. Do not come.”

The first trip abroad for the VP has stirred up plenty of reaction so far.
