NJ Sanitation Workers Dig Through Trash To Return Wedding Ring To Woman

Mayor De Blasio Announces Sweeping Environmental Sustainability Plan For New York City

Some sanitation workers in New Jersey are going above and beyond at their job. That's because they spent an hour and a half going through the contents of a garbage truck helping a woman find her wedding ring and wallet. Ruth Watson told NJ.com her ten-year-old son thought the bag that contained her valuable items was trash so he took it to the curb. Watson said she couldn't explain how she felt when she realized the trash had been picked up. Thanks to Ramon Nazario, Alfredo Perez, and Paul Deola her ring is now back on her finger.
