NJ Man Starts Free Lawn Care Company For Seniors & Veterans

Summer Weather In Berlin

A New Jersey man who was laid off during the pandemic has used his down time to help people in need. Brian Schwartz started a business called I Want To Mow Your Lawn, which provides yard work for people who need it the most.

The nonprofit connects veterans, senior citizens, disabled and underprivileged people to licensed landscapers and volunteers. They don’t just mow lawns, they trim hedges, kill weeds and more and it doesn’t cost the customers a cent. I Want To Mow Your Lawn has continued to expand and now operates in eight states.

“We're really truly helping out people that are in dire need of their lawn care,” Schwartz explains, “they're for the most part living on fixed income and can't afford lawn care maintenance.”
