NY Restaurants to Expand Indoor Capacity to 75 Percent

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that on March 19, restaurants outside New York City will be able to expand to 75 percent capacity.

“It's not just good news for the restaurant owners. Remember you have a lot of staff at restaurants, there are a lot of jobs, there are a lot of suppliers, so we'll go to 75 percent,” Cuomo said.

Restaurants around the state are currently at 50 percent capacity. This order doesn’t impact restaurants in New York City, which will remain at 35 percent capacity.
