Albany, New York Landlord Shawn Douglas has been hit with kidnapping charges after going to extreme means to “evict” a couple of tenants. Reportedly frustrated because he was “unable to evict his tenants due to COVID-19 restrictions,” he allegedly decided to take matters into his own hands. According to reports, Douglas tied two people with “zip ties and tape,” put pillowcases over their heads, and “dumped them” in the snow at a local cemetery. The woman was thankfully able to untie herself and walk to a home nearby for help. Douglas is now facing second-degree kidnapping charges, and the arrest of suspected accomplices is possible.
