The new year started off gangbusters for Pennsylvania and New Jersey in the sports betting world. Already two of the top three sports betting states, they both combined to bring in $1.5-billion. Pennsylvania had its biggest month ever, with a $615.3-million pull, and New Jersey had its second-biggest month ever, with a final receipt of $958.7-million.
