Earlier this month, ESPN reported that Houston Texans star quarterback Deshaun Watson would consider a trade to the Miami Dolphins. That's still on the table, but it appears the 25-year-old prefers another team in the AFC East and, no, it's not the New England Patriots.
Watson's top destination is now reportedly the New York Jets because of the recent hiring of Robert Saleh as the franchise's next head coach.
Whether he goes to either team or someone else—it seems all but apparent that he won’t be returning to Houston after ESPN reported over the weekend that—regardless of who the Texans hire as their new head coach—it is not expected to change the young QB’s mind about leaving—and that the QB is still expected to want out of Houston.
