New Jersey AG Reminds Citizens Pot Isn’t Legal…Yet

Even though the good citizens of New Jersey voted to legalize weed on Tuesday, the state’s Attorney General is reminding people that they’re not quite able to imbibe yet. The decriminalization law doesn’t take effect until January, so, until then, weed is still “illegal” and can be prosecuted. Gurbir Grewal also added that when it does become decriminalized, the new rules only apply to legal weed…and not “unauthorized” pot. You’ve been warned.
