New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is trying out a new way to reach voters, and it worked better than expected.
The 31-year-old congresswoman is encouraging her followers to join her in playing an online game called "Among Us." She played for the first time Monday and came back yesterday for another round.
Not only did she have three hours of fun, but AOC racked up 439-thousand views, which makes it the third highest viewed single stream in history. Streamers Pokemane and Hasanabi joined her for the game.
AOC is joining video game professionals on Twitch to stream the games and to "help folks make a voting plan at iwillvote.com."
