Prosecutors Say Central Park "Karen" Made Second 911 Call

Prosecutors in New York say the woman sometimes referred to as "Central Park Karen" made a second 9-1-1 call – one we’d previously never heard about – after accusing a black man of threatening her.

As you might recall, it was in late May when Amy Cooper was seen on cell phone video during an interaction with Christian Cooper, a black man of no relation who had asked her to leash her dog in the wooded Ramble bird-watching area.

Ms. Cooper was virtually arraigned yesterday on charges of filing a police report, and reports indicate she'll likely be required to perform community service as part of a plea deal.

Apparently, the second 9-1-1 call includes Ms. Cooper accusing the man of assaulting her, while cops who initially responded to the scene say she denied the man touched her.

Cooper subsequently lost her job and faced intense ridicule online as the video of the incident went viral. Mr. Cooper reportedly didn't cooperate with the prosecution and released a statement saying the woman has already paid a steep price.
