New York Jets Release Disgruntled Running Back Le'Veon Bell

Early yesterday a story emerged out of ESPN that said the New York Jets were trying to trade running back Le'Veon Bell who was unhappy with his role in head coach Adam Gase's offense.

But hours later we realized someone was even less happy with the situation—the Jets.

Mostly with the fact that none of the other 31 teams would let them unload Bell and the fully guaranteed $6 million bucks remaining on his 2020 salary—which is why they ended up flat out releasing him.

Seems like he won out and by that I mean the beleaguered Gase lasted longer as a Jet than Bell but—given the Jets are sitting at 0-5 and are about to start a 37-year-old running back in Frank Gore this Sunday in Miami—it may only be a matter of days.
