Drivers in New Jersey are paying more.
Tolls on the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and Atlantic City Expressway increased on Sunday. Turnpike tolls increased by an average of 36 percent, while it’s costing 27 percent more on the Parkway.
The toll hikes were approved earlier this year.The Turnpike Authority said the increases are needed to widen the roads and make other repairs.
