A New Jersey homeowner was cited by police after renting out his pool for a gathering of 85 children. The town received multiple complaints and began an investigation into the homeowner’s actions. A code enforcement officer showed up and witnessed the swimming party. The officer saw two buses drop off and pick up 85 children at the home between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. and learned that they were paying to swim there. The homeowner was issued two summonses for failure to obtain a permit for commercial use of a private swimming pool and renting a swimming pool.
