'Survivor' Has Been Pulled From CBS Fall Schedule

As a result of COVID-19, Survivor will no longer be a part of CBS' fall schedule.

The networks says that producers are working tirelessly with Fiji officials on the "appropriate time" to start up production for the show, with health and safety as their top priority. They were hoping to get the show up and running to hit their fall deadline, but will sadly not be able to do it.

The hit show, executive produced by Jeff Probst, Mark Burnett and Matt VanWagenen, was supposed to be airing at 8pm on Wednesdays starting in the fall. However now the upcoming season of Amazing Race will now move from 9pm to 8pm.

Survivor originally postponed their production in March on the day the WHO declared COVID-19 a global pandemic. They were hoping to start filming for season 41 in May.

“That’s going to be a little more complicated because we literally have to navigate some international waters,” CBS Entertainment President Kelly Kahl tells Deadline.
