Westchester Executive George Latimer “Excited” About Phase Three

Indoor dining is now allowed in Westchester County, as the Mid-Hudson region begins phase three of reopening.

“We are excited,” County Executive George Latimer told WOR’s “Len Berman and Michael Riedel in the Morning.”

Nail salons, tattoo parlors and spas will also reopen.

“It’s another step in the right direction. We’re anxious to get back to normal, but we don’t want to do it recklessly,” Latimer said.

Social distancing restrictions will remain in effect. Latimer said the details of phase four are “ill-defined” at the moment.He said it’s at least two weeks away from beginning.

Long Island begins phase three on Wednesday.
